The University of South Dakota held its annual Dakota Days Pep Rally on Thursday, September 30th, 2021. This event was primarily scheduled to be outdoors Downtown Vermillion but was moved inside due to weather. The Rally began in the evening at 7 in Old Lumber Company Grill and Bar's second floor. The night consisted of performances by The Sound of USD, USD's Cheer team, and speeches from all different sides of athletics in celebration of the university's Homecoming. Dakota Days is a week-long celebration for USD and are arguably one of the most anticipated weeks on campus. There was plenty of school spirit to go around!

A Closer look at the 53 floats at the parade of lights in Sioux Falls, sd.
Sioux Falls held their 29th Annual Parade of Lights.
The Parade of Lights was held on Friday, November 26. The event began at 7:30 p.m. There were 63 floats included in the parade that evening. There was quite the turnour as the streets of Downtown Sioux Falls became filled with people of all ages. Last year's parade was canceled due to the pandemic. However this year was back on, and the holiday joy filled the streets and filled their hearts.
